How the practice works
When you've got a medical problem
The practice operates an immediate access system. Experience has shown us that speaking to a doctor first allows a decision to be made about how to best manage the problem.
You can phone the surgery and receive a response from a doctor - hopefully within an hour, but it may take longer or be quicker depending on how busy the practice is. Our aim is to be able to deal with any problem as soon as possible after you decide you want advice from us. We want to stop any worries about not being able to speak to a doctor quickly. The doctor will then decide whether to give you advice on the phone or ask you to come to the surgery.
We have put together answers to questions about how our system works.
When you need a repeat prescription
If you are taking regular medication we will give you a computer slip listing your medication. When you next require a prescription, hand in your slip at reception or pharmacy. You can also phone the surgery with the items you require or order repeat prescriptions online.
Alternatively send your prescription with a stamped addressed envelope to the surgery and we will post your prescription to you.
Please give the practice a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to collecting your repeat prescription.
