How the practice works
When you've got a medical problem
The practice has operated an immediate access system since 2015. This allows us to give you same day advice on how we can best help you with your medical problem.
In 2019, we've introduced a new system called AskMyGP. Through this, patients can contact us securely online. This is the fastest, most efficient way to get advice from the practice.
We understand that not all patients will wish to use an online service, so you will still be able to phone the surgery. Our staff will take some details from you about what your problem is. Please provide them with as much information as you feel able, as this will be passed to the GP to assist us in helping you speedily.
When you need a repeat prescriptionIf you are taking regular medication we will give you a computer slip listing your medication. When you next require a prescription, hand in your slip at reception or pharmacy. You can also phone the surgery with the items you require or order repeat prescriptions online.
Alternatively send your prescription with a stamped addressed envelope to the surgery and we will post your prescription to you. Please give the practice a minimum of 48 hours notice prior to collecting your repeat prescription.
